Clitheroe Golf Club was formed in 1891 and moved to its present site in 1932 with the establishment of an outstanding 18 hole golf course.  The club's continuous drive to be one of the best parkland courses in the North West has in recent years  seen all 18 greens being re-modelled and re-built to USGA standards, offering members and vistors the best of playing conditions all year round.

There is a fully stocked halfway house at the 9th green and  a  starters' hut at the 1st tee.

Inside the newly refurbished clubhouse is a welcoming lounge and dinng area, a spike bar with TV screens, private dining room and finally the Southworth room, a modern meeting room venue overlooking the course. This room also houses the Club’s extensive collection of artefacts and a pictorial library of the history of Clitheroe Golf Club.

Our new  ACADEMY includes a covered 10-bay driving range, complete with teaching bay, swing room and short game practice facility.  Completed in June 2021, we are confident this facility will confirm Clitheroe GC's status as one of the North of England's leading golf courses.
