Clitheroe Golf Club has a full playing Membership but accepts applications throughout the year. The main intake of members takes place at the beginning of October but applicants will be taken at any time if a vacancy should arise. Application forms along with extensive notes are available solely from the Secretary’s Office.

A proposer and seconder are required along with a letter from your proposer. Both your proposer and seconder must be Full Members of the Club of at least three years standing. The completed form and proposers letter should be returned to the Secretary. Should you be new to the area then there are procedures to allow you to apply with no initial proposer.

Applicants will be invited to interview before taking up Membership. There is a joining fee for all new Members. For those under 30 years of age it equates to 100% of the first year’s subscription and is due with the initial subscription. For those over 30 it equates to 150% of the first year’s subscription.100% is due with your initial subscription with the remaining 50% due with your second year’s subscription. 

Please note that 5 day Membership is only available to current Members with at least 10 years continuous Membership for the over 65 category and 20 years for the over 75 category.

Members are permitted to sign in up to three guests to play golf at the following green fee rate:
